PROGRAM FUNDS AND SCHOLARSHIP AID

The NorCal Lacrosse Foundation offers financial aid to Northern California lacrosse participants in the form of loans, which must be repaid, and grants or scholarships, which need not be repaid. 

• Scholarship Program: Offers financial assistance to participate in a lacrosse program, event or function as a player, coach, umpire/referee or administrator.
• Program Fund Application: Offers financial assistance for a new or existing lacrosse team, club or program.

NorCal Lacrosse Foundation Scholarship

The NorCal Lacrosse Foundation, Inc. (NCLF) offers scholarship aid to northern California lacrosse participants, which need not be repaid.

To request financial assistance to participate in a lacrosse program, event or function as a player, coach, umpire/referee or administrator, please complete the application

There are three application and award periods.

1.     “Spring season” applications received by October 31st will be considered for scholarships granted by November 30th. 

2.     “Summer season” applications received by April 30th will be considered for scholarships granted by May 31st.

3.     “Fall and winter program” applications received by July 31st will be considered for scholarships granted by August 30th.

Please submit with this application a brief letter of recommendation. The letter should be from a coach, association or community leader, athletic director or league or conference president.

For players participating in activities such as camps and travel teams, payments will be made only to organization upon confirmation that the player is a registered participant who completed the program.  The applicant or the applicant’s legal guardians must forward part two of the application to a legal representative of the organization.

For individuals, such as officials, seeking scholarship aid to participate in events such as officials’ training, payment will be made after confirmation of participation is provided.

A complete application must be received by October 31st.  A decision notification will be sent on or before November 30th.

Please submit with this application a brief letter of recommendation. The letter should be from a community leader, athletic director or league or conference president.
