Warrior is currently in production starring Kellan Lutz. He is joined by Ashley Greene from Twilight, she plays Kellan's love interest. The movie also features Adam Beach, Gabrielle Anwar, Ridge Canipe, Chris Potter, and Lauren Minite.
The Story line is Kellan plays a Top West Coast HS lacrosse player and has his world shattered when his father, a Marine Corps officer moves the family back to the East Coast. As he tries to adapt to a hostile coach and teammates, he meets "Brooklyn", the coach's daughter played by Ashley Greene who helps him cope with the change. Within a few weeks his father is called back to Iraq and is killed. "Connor's" life and future unhinge and he begins to destroy everything that he loves. "Duke" played by Adam Beach (Flags of our Fathers) is a Native American Marine who takes "Connor" and puts him back on track thru the 6 Nations work camp, a Native American camp, where he learns the true meaning of the sport, his connection with his father and how to become a true Warrior. He returns where he and "Brooklyn" finally engage as soul mates, she helps him deal with his struggles and now he is given a final chance to enjoy the game, competition and the relationship he cherishes most.
Mark Burnett (creator of Survivor, The Apprentice and the Contender) and James Patterson (Best Selling Author) are heavily involved with the film as Executive Producers. This film will wrap in late January and is currently being shot in the Los Angeles area.
