comments: SF City Lacrosse Club is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to assist in growing our girls program through recruitment during the fall 2009 registration period (October - December) and to serve in a head coaching position during the regular season (February – May 2010). A strong collegiate lacrosse resume, with at least two years playing experience is required. Prior coaching experience is strongly preferred, ideally with youth. Must be a proponent of the Positive Coaching Alliance philosophy. Responsibilities in the FALL include: meeting with public/private school athletic directors to promote SFCLC’s program and recruit players, and hold informal introductory clinics and informational gatherings. Responsibilities in the SPRING include: serving as head coach for the girls program, directing and collaborating with the other girls’ coaches with a focus on player development, and planning practices to instill strong fundamentals and a love of the game. Must be available for afternoon practices. |
